Mission Geography India is currently a very popular learning platform on social media. Mission Geography India has been moving forward silently as a long-term end-to-end hard work and accumulation of well-intentioned information. The germination of the saplings in the hands of Hon’ble Sourav Sarkar from Godagari, a remote village in Murshidabad on 26th September 2014 is spreading like wildfire all over West Bengal today through hard work-minded activities.
At a time when 2014 was far behind, Mission Geography India Social Media Group was started by Hon’ble Sourav Sarkar with his unconditional love for geography and the study of geography in Bengal. Facebook started in the social media world and gradually entered the WhatsApp group and started from the reliable and vast website for practicing geography in Bengali, independent quarterly magazine of geography, publication of school service geography handbook etc. as well as online coaching system, online classrooms The online Tate coaching system and the publication of the Tate Handbook have made Mission Geography India the darling of all.
On September 26, 2014, a young man started walking holding hands. The two main areas of social media are Facebook and WhatsApp. As the journey progressed, the work ethic deepened and the determination was strengthened by increasing the cordial friendship with different geographical people from different parts of West Bengal. This is the beginning of the “Mission Geography India” quarterly magazine. Its first debut was on 15th August 2016. The magazine is well-liked in the geography community. The sincerity towards Mission Geography India Quarterly in the hearts of the geography-loving teachers and geography-loving students of West Bengal intensifies the desire of the Mission Geography India family to do more. From that aspiration were published “SLST GEOGRAPHY E-BOOK” and successive “Geography Contemplation”, “Children’s Education Connections”, “Mission Indian Railways”, “Geographical Chronology”, “Geography of West Bengal” and “Ecology”, “Secondary Geography”. Extracts “,” Higher Geography Extracts “etc. ebooks are published and attached to the MGI ebook store on the Mission Geography India website. Along the way, Mission Geography India started a special approach to school-service geography as an impeccable attempt at Q&A to assist in geography. In a three-month effort mediated by Mission Geography India, over a hundred competing students created a huge collection of about 30,000 Q&A topics. The beginning is another era of action in Mission Geography India.
Despite the huge collection of 30,000 questions and answers, various errors cut the scars in the Mission Geography India family and from there the desire to deliver flawless, advanced and up-to-date accurate geographical information to the competing students begins the fourth year and the beginning of the fifth year “MGI SALST GEO ” This system is developed in a slightly different way from the conventional system, which now has about 500 competing students attached. The system continues to expand through topic-based question-and-answer discussions, and the “topic-based discussion” approach becomes popular. Combining the study materials of this online coaching system, the “School Service Geography Handbook” was launched on September 26, 2019 at the juncture of the fifth year and the sixth year of Mission Geography India. Which is appreciated by students and teachers competing in geography. In the meantime, a guideline of NCTE says to take TET for teaching at secondary and higher secondary level. And in our state it is recognized and published as a gadget. As a result, intense speculation started among the competing students. In this situation, Mission Geography India launched MGI TET ONLINE COACHING in September 2019 to discuss the content of the topic based PEDAGOGY in accordance with NCTE’s guidelines of 2017 where hundreds of competing students are continuously preparing. Due to this, on 5th September this year, on the day of Teacher’s Day, paying homage to the entire teaching staff, MGI TET ONLINE COACHING’s information collection was launched by Mission Geography India – “School Service Tate Handbook”. Whose topic planning and presentation strategies will play a leading role in high level TET topics in the coming days. This book is also widely acclaimed.
In order to continue this trend and to meet the demand for geographical information in another field of geography – Mission Geography India and Techno World, one of the publishing houses in the publishing world, another popular geographical repository – Mission Geographic India was published in December 2019. The book “Geography Extract”. Although the book initially debuted as an EBOOK, it later became a printed book in the sincerity of Techno World Publishing Company, and Mission Geography India and Techno World have a strong bond.
The Corona epidemic has already emerged as a global panic. “Lockdown” was declared all over India, affecting economic activities at every level of society. At this time, Mission Geography India did not sit idly by but stood by the marginalized people through donations from various family members and delivered relief items to the needy families in the Murshidabad-Bangladesh border area and Bankura-Purulia border area. Besides, the Chief Minister contributes as much as possible to the relief fund and the Prime Minister to the relief fund. However, there are still some shortcomings. With this feeling, Mission Geography India, with the help of EVOLUTION, one of the voluntary organizations in the border area of Murshidabad, participates in the “Community Kitchen”, through which the necessary food is distributed to the people.
Karma is the religion of life. Blessings received through action, best wishes Mission Geography India has a way forward. The “Online Essay Competition” is organized as a way for geographers to spend their time in this gloomy time of epidemic and to showcase their talents. Has been hailed as an endeavor. At the same time, the “online geography classroom” is started with the aim of enabling the graduates from the secondary level to continue their preparation continuously, when the traditional educational institutions are closed in the coveted situation. So that the renowned teacher / teacher participates and provides one of the dimensions in the preparation of the students. Presented are the four most important “Webinars” of the time – “Inner Palaces of the Sundarbans”, Modern Civilization and Our Environmental Thoughts, “Current Online Education and Corona Epidemic”, “Natural Environment and River Planning in the Consciousness of Rabindranath Tagore”. The books awaiting publication are Mission Geography India’s “Children’s Education Apprenticeship”, “School Service Geography Practice Set”, “Marine Geography Extract”, India’s Geography Extract “.
Today, at the juncture of a long seven-and-a-half-year journey and future, Mission Geography India expects blessings and dust from the family geography enthusiasts. We respectfully remember all the generous Marg visitors who have been inspired and supported by Mission Geography India on this long journey, and whose inspiration has helped to save energy for the future. I would like to thank all those who have left Mission Geography India for various personal reasons along the way. Without the cooperation, love and blessings of all, it would not have been possible for Mission Geography India to move forward with a united heart from different parts of West Bengal. মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া, বর্তমানে সোশাল মিডিয়ার একটি অত্যন্ত জনপ্রিয় শিক্ষণীয় প্লাটফর্ম। দীর্ঘদিনের বিন্দু বিন্দু পরিশ্রমে ও সদিচ্ছা সিক্ত তথ্যের সঞ্চিত রুপ হিসাবে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া নিঃশব্দে এগিয়ে চলেছে। ২৬ শে সেপ্টেম্বর ২০১৪ তে মুর্শিদাবাদের প্রত্যন্ত গ্রাম গোদাগাড়ী থেকে মাননীয় সৌরভ সরকার এর হাত ধরে যে চারার অঙ্কুরোদগম তা আজ হার্দিক কর্ম-মানসিকতাযুক্ত কার্যাবলীর মাধ্যমে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের সর্বত্রই মহিরুহ হিসাবে ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে।
২০১৪ অনেকটা পিছনে ফেলে আসা সময়, সেই সময়ের নিভৃতে ভূগোলের প্রতি অনাবিল ভালবাসা ও বাংলায় ভূগোল চর্চার টানে মাননীয় সৌরভ সরকারের হাতে সূচনা হয় মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া সোশাল মিডিয়া গ্রুপ। ফেসবুক সোশাল মিডিয়া জগতে প্রারম্ভ করে ধীরে ধীরে হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ গ্রুপে প্রবেশ এবং বাংলায় ভূগোল চর্চার ক্ষেত্রে নির্ভরযোগ্য ও সুবিশাল ওয়েবসাইট, ভূগোলের স্বতন্ত্র ত্রৈমাসিক পত্রিকা, স্কুল সার্ভিস ভূগোল হ্যান্ডবুক প্রকাশ ইত্যাদির পাশাপাশি অনলাইন কোচিং ব্যবস্থা, অনলাইন বিভিন্ন স্তরের শ্রেণিকক্ষ, বিভিন্ন সামাজিক কার্যাবলী থেকে আরম্ভ করে প্রয়োজনের স্বাপেক্ষে অনলাইন টেট কোচিং ব্যবস্থা এবং টেট হ্যান্ডবুক প্রকাশ এই সুদীর্ঘ পথের অক্লান্ত পরিশ্রম মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়াকে সকলের স্নেহের পাত্র করে তুলেছে।
২০১৪ সালে ২৬ শে সেপ্টেম্বর এক তরুণের হাত ধরে পথ চলা আরম্ভ। সোশাল মিডিয়ার দুই প্রধান ক্ষেত্র ফেসবুক ও হোয়াটসঅ্যাপ এর সাহায্যে তথ্যের আদান প্রদানের মাধ্যমে ধীরে ধীরে এগিয়ে চলার সেই সূচনা। পথ চলতে চলতে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন স্থানের বিভিন্ন ভূগোলপ্রেমী মানুষের সাথে আন্তরিক সখ্যতা বৃদ্ধির মাধ্যমে কর্ম তৎপরতা গভীরতা পেতে থাকে এবং সংকল্প দৃঢ়তা পায়। এই সংকল্প থেকেই সূচনা হয় “মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া'” ত্রৈমাসিক পত্রিকার। ২০১৭ সালের ১৫ ই আগস্ট যার প্রথম আত্মপ্রকাশ। পত্রিকাটি সমাদৃত হয় ভূগোল মহলে। পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিদগ্ধ ভূগোল অনুরাগী শিক্ষককুল এবং ভূগোলপ্রেমী শিক্ষার্থীকুলের অন্তরে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া ত্রৈমাসিক পত্রিকার প্রতি আন্তরিকতা মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া পরিবারের আরো কিছু করার আকাঙ্ক্ষাকে তীব্র করে তোলে। সেই আকাঙ্ক্ষা থেকে প্রকাশিত হয় “SLST GEOGRAPHY E-BOOK” এবং পরপর “ভূগোল চিন্তন”, “শিশু শিক্ষার অনুষঙ্গ”, “মিশন ইন্ডিয়ান রেল”, “ভৌগোলিক সালানুক্রম”, “পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ভূগোল নির্যাস” এবং “পরিবেশ বিদ্যা”, “মাধ্যমিক ভূগোল নির্যাস”, “উচ্চমাধ্যমিক ভূগোল নির্যাস” ইত্যাদি ইবুক প্রকাশিত হয় এবং মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া ওয়েবসাইটের এম.জি.আই ইবুক স্টোরে সংযুক্ত হয়। এই পথ চলার পথ ধরেই মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া স্কুল সার্ভিস ভূগোলে সহায়তা করার জন্য প্রশ্নোত্তর আলোচনার জন্য এক অনবদ্য প্রয়াস হিসাবে আরম্ভ করে একটি বিশেষ কর্মপদ্ধতি । যেখানে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়ার মধ্যস্থতায় তিন মাসের প্রচেষ্টায় শতাধিক প্রতিযোগী শিক্ষার্থী টপিক ভিত্তিক প্রায় ৩০ হাজার প্রশ্নোত্তরের বিশাল সম্ভার নিজেরাই তৈরি করে ফেলেন । সূচনা হয় মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়ার আরেক কর্ম যুগের।
৩০ হাজার প্রশ্নোত্তরের বিশাল সম্ভার গড়ে উঠলেও বিভিন্ন ত্রুটি মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া পরিবারের মধ্যে দাগ কাটে এবং সেখান থেকে ত্রুটিমুক্ত, উন্নত ও আধুনিক দৃষ্টিসম্পন্ন নির্ভুল ভৌগোলিক তথ্য প্রতিযোগী শিক্ষার্থীদের হাতে তুলে দেওয়ার আকাঙ্ক্ষা থেকে চতুর্থ বর্ষপূর্তি ও পঞ্চম বর্ষের সূচনা লগ্নে প্রারম্ভ হয় “MGI SLST GEOGRAPHY ONLINE COACHING”। এই ব্যবস্থা গতানুগতিক ব্যবস্থা থেকে একটু আলাদা ভাবে বিকশিত হয়, যাতে বর্তমানে প্রায় ৫০০ জন প্রতিযোগী শিক্ষার্থী সংযুক্ত রয়েছেন। টপিক ভিত্তিক সুশৃঙ্খল প্রশ্নোত্তরের আলোচনার মাধ্যমে এই ব্যবস্থা প্রসারিত হতে থাকে এবং “টপিক ভিত্তিক আলোচনার” দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি জনপ্রিয় হয়ে ওঠে। এই অনলাইন কোচিং ব্যবস্থার স্টাডি ম্যাটেরিয়ালগুলি একত্রিত করে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়ার পঞ্চম বর্ষ পূর্তি ও ষষ্ঠ বর্ষের সন্ধিক্ষণে ২৬ শে সেপ্টেম্বর ২০১৯ এ আত্মপ্রকাশ করে “স্কুল সার্ভিস ভূগোল হ্যান্ডবুক”। যা ভূগোল প্রতিযোগী শিক্ষার্থী ও শিক্ষককুলে সমাদৃত হয়। ইতিমধ্যে NCTE এর একটি গাইডলাইন এ মাধ্যমিক ও উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক স্তরের শিক্ষকতার জন্য TET নেওয়ার কথা বলা হয়। এবং আমাদের রাজ্যে সেটিকে মান্যতা দিয়ে প্রকাশিত হয় একটি গ্যাজেট। ফলে প্রতিযোগী শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে আরম্ভ হয় তীব্র জল্পনা। এই পরিস্থিতিতে NCTE এর ২০১৮ এর গাইডলাইন মেনে সেই অনুসারে টপিক ভিত্তিক PEDAGOGY এর বিষয়বস্তু আলোচনার জন্য মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া ২০১৯ এর সেপ্টেম্বরে আরম্ভ করে MGI TET ONLINE COACHING যেখানে শতাধিক প্রতিযোগী শিক্ষার্থী অংশগ্রহন করে তাদের প্রস্তুতি নিরন্তরভাবে চালিয়ে যাচ্ছেন। এরই সুবাদে চলতি বৎসরে ৫ ই সেপ্টেম্বর, শিক্ষক দিবসের দিন সমগ্র শিক্ষককুলের প্রতি অসীম শ্রদ্ধা নিবেদন করে MGI TET ONLINE COACHING এর তথ্য সমন্বয়ে আত্মপ্রকাশ করে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া’র – “স্কুল সার্ভিস টেট হ্যান্ডবুক”। যার টপিক পরিকল্পনা এবং উপস্থাপন কৌশল আগামি দিনে উচ্চ স্তরের টেট বিষয়ের ক্ষেত্রে অগ্রনী ভূমিকা পালন করবে। এই বইটিও ব্যাপকভাবে সর্বস্তরে সমাদৃত হয়।
এই ধারা অব্যাহত রাখার প্রয়োজনে এবং ভূগোলের আরেক ক্ষেত্র – পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ভৌগোলিক তথ্যের চাহিদা পূরণের লক্ষ্যে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া এবং প্রকাশনা জগতের অন্যতম প্রকাশনা সংস্থা টেকনো ওয়ার্ল্ড এর যৌথ প্রচেষ্টায় ডিসেম্বর, ২০১৯ এ প্রকাশিত হয় আরো একটি জনপ্রিয় ভৌগোলিক তথ্য ভান্ডার – মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া’র “পশ্চিমবঙ্গের ভূগোল নির্যাস” নামক বইটি। এই বইটি প্রাথমিকভাবে EBOOK হিসাবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করলেও পরবর্তী সময়ে টেকনো ওয়ার্ল্ড প্রকাশনী সংস্থার আন্তরিকতায় মুদ্রিত পুস্তক হিসাবে আত্মপ্রকাশ করে এবং মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া ও টেকনো ওয়ার্ল্ড এক সুদৃঢ় বন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হয়।
ইতিমধ্যে বিশ্বব্যাপী আতঙ্ক হিসাবে করোনা মহামারির আবির্ভাব ঘটে। সম্পূর্ণ ভারতে “লক ডাউন” ঘোষণা করা হয় ফলে সমাজের প্রতিটি স্তরে অর্থনৈতিক কার্যাবলী প্রভাবিত হয়। এই সময়ে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া নিঃশব্দে বসে না থেকে পরিবারের বিভিন্ন সদস্যের দানের মাধ্যমে প্রান্তিক মানুষের পাশে দাঁড়ায় এবং মুর্শিদাবাদ-বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তবর্তী অঞ্চল ও বাঁকুড়া-পুরুলিয়া সীমান্তবর্তী অঞ্চলে দুঃস্থ পরিবারে ত্রাণ সামগ্রী হিসাবে খাদ্য উপকরণ পৌঁছে দেয়। পাশাপাশি মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ত্রাণ তহবিল ও প্রধানমন্ত্রী ত্রাণ তহবিলে যথাসাধ্য অর্থ প্রদান করে। তবু কিছু ঘাটতি থেকেই যায়, এই অনুভব থেকে মুর্শিদাবাদ সীমান্তবর্তী অঞ্চলে সেখানকার অন্যতম স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থা “EVOLUTION” এর হাত ধরে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া অংশগ্রহণ করে “কমিউনিটি কিচেনে”, যার মাধ্যমে সেখানের অসংখ্য মানুষের মুখে তুলে দেওয়া হয় প্রয়োজনীয় অন্ন।
কর্মই জীবনের ধর্ম। কর্মের মাধ্যমে প্রাপ্ত আশীর্বাদ, শুভেচ্ছা মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়ার এগিয়ে চলার পাথেয়। মহামারি পরিস্থিতির এই বিষন্ন সময়ে ভূগোল প্রেমীদের সময় অতিবাহিত করার জন্য এবং তাদের প্রতিভা প্রকাশের মাধ্যম হিসাবে আয়োজন করা হয় “অনলাইন প্রবন্ধ প্রতিযোগীতা” যেখানে শিক্ষককুল থেকে শিক্ষার্থীকুল সকলেই তাদের নিজ নিজ প্রবন্ধ প্রকাশের মাধ্যমে একদিকে যেমন ভূগোলের বিভিন্ন বিষয়বস্তুকে সমৃদ্ধ করেছেন তেমনি পাঠক কুলের বিষন্ন সময় অতিবাহের অন্যতম প্রচেষ্টা হিসাবে সমাদৃত হয়েছে। এর সাথে সাথে কোভিড পরিস্থিতিতে যখন গতানুগতিক শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান বন্ধ, তখন মাধ্যমিক স্তর থেকে স্নাতক স্তরের শিক্ষার্থী যাতে নিজেদের প্রস্তুতি নিরন্তরভাবে চালিয়ে যেতে পারে সেদিকে খেয়াল রেখে আরম্ভ হয় “অনলাইন ভূগোল ক্লাসরুম”। যাতে স্বনামধন্য শিক্ষক/শিক্ষিকা অংশগ্রহণ করে শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রস্তুতির ক্ষেত্রে অন্যতম মাত্রা প্রদান করে। উপস্থাপন করা হয় সময়োপযোগী চারটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ “Webinar” এগুলি হল – “সুন্দরবনের অন্দর মহল”, আধুনিক সভ্যতা ও আমাদের পরিবেশ ভাবনা”, “বর্তমান অনলাইন শিক্ষা ও করোনা মহামারি”, “রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের চেতনায় প্রাকৃতিক পরিবেশ ও নদী পরিকল্পনা” । আগামি দিনে টেকনো ওয়ার্ল্ড প্রকাশনা সংস্থার সুবাদে প্রকাশের অপেক্ষায় রয়েছে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়ার “শিশু শিক্ষার অনুষঙ্গ”, “স্কুল সার্ভিস ভূগোল প্র্যাকটিস সেট”, “সামুদ্রিক ভূগোল নির্যাস”, ভারতের ভূগোল নির্যাস” ইত্যাদি বইগুলি।
আজ দীর্ঘ সাড়ে সাত বছরের যাত্রা ও আগামির এই সন্ধিক্ষণে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া পরিবার ভূগোল অনুরাগীকুলের আশীর্বাদ ও চরণধূলির প্রত্যাশা করে। এই নাতিদীর্ঘ যাত্রা পথে যাদের সহযোগীতা ও সহমরমিতা মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া কে নিরন্তর উৎসাহ প্রদান করেছে, পাশে থেকে অনুপ্রানিত করেছেন এবং যাদের অনুপ্রেরণা আগামি দিনের শক্তি সঞ্চয়ে সহায়ক সেই সমস্ত মহানুভব মার্গ দর্শককে সশ্রদ্ধ চিত্তে স্মরণ করি । এই পথ পরিক্রমায় বিভিন্ন ব্যক্তিগত কারণে যারা মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়া থেকে সরে গেছেন তাদের সকলের অবদান কৃতজ্ঞতাচিত্তে স্মরণ করি। সকলের সহযোগীতা, ভালবাসা, আশির্বাদ ছাড়া পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিভিন্ন স্থান থেকে একত্রিতভাবে, অভিন্ন হৃদয়ে মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়াকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া সম্ভবপর হতো না। আশাকরি আগামি দিনেও মিশন জিওগ্রাফি ইন্ডিয়ার প্রতি এই স্নেহ পরায়ণতা সম্পূর্ণরূপে বজায় থাকবে। সকলকে ধন্যবাদ জানাই।
